Getting to Koblenz

Koblenz is located at the IC/EC track that connects the major cities from north to south. After leaving the main station you will find the bus depot right in front of you. For train schedules check http://www.reiseauskunft.bahn.de/.

From the main station to the university by bus
At the main station there are several bus connections to the university. A fast connection is the bus line no. 20. Pease leave the bus at "Metternich Oberweiher(Uni)", the second station after passing the Moselle river.
The bus lines no. 5 and no.15 also lead to the university, but take even longer (about 30 minutes). In order to find your best connection, please enter the bus station "Metternich Oberweiher(Uni), Koblenz" to http://www.reiseauskunft.bahn.de/ as final station.

Terminal 1 is connected to train stations for regional trains (Regionalbahnhof) and long distance trains (Fernbahnhof). From Fernbahnhof you will have a connection every hour, although there are only a few direct trains. Usually you have to change trains in Mainz. The train ride takes approx. 70 minutes. Regarding train schedules see above. All major car rental companies have a desk at the Airport terminal. By car it will take about 70 minutes.
